Dry seasons

The best time recommended for safaris is during the dry seasons.

Weather:
Dry and sunny, with minimal rainfall.
Months:
December to February and June to August.
Wildlife Viewing:
Excellent. Animals congregate around water sources, making them easier to spot.
Activities:
Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking are ideal during these months as trails are less muddy. Game drives in national parks like Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, and Kidepo Valley offer great chances to see big game. Birdwatching is superb, with resident and some migratory birds present.
Advantages:
Easier travel and navigation due to good road conditions. Fewer mosquitoes, making it more comfortable for visitors.

Wet seasons

With simple words, the green season, the time when the nature is thriving.

Weather:
Rainy, with occasional downpours, but also sunny intervals.
Months:
March to May and September to November.
Wildlife Viewing:
Still good, though animals may be more spread out.
Activities:
Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking are possible, but trails can be muddy, adding an adventurous challenge. Birdwatching is exceptional, especially with migratory species from Europe and North Africa. The landscape is lush and vibrant, making for stunning photography.
Advantages:
